I had a weber c fracture and I'm just recently been able to put weight on my ankle after 5 weeks post surgery, still with 1 crutch and is very hard, hopefully I can start with no crutch next week and get back to some form of normal.
Amazing video once again Khalid! But I just wanted to ask if the knee is in a flexed position then wouldn’t performing seated calf raises focus on strengthening the gastrocnemius (which originates from lateral & medial condyles) instead of the soleus
This was a great breakdown as I just discovered this morning that I have a slap lesion tear thank you for making it so simple to understand
More please
I have this. How do I fix it?
Just got both from landing a dunk :((
What about us already skinny blokes who can’t spare the loss but want good circulation & healthy heart? Do we need to eat extra protein to keep up
As Orthopedics resident, non weight bearing with clutches, boot back slab and later on physiotherapy is what works the best for my patients. Less later on complications.
its the carbohydrates , sugar and alcohol ,
aka dinner fork and garden spade deformities respectively!
And I'm telling you that excercise made it much worse...and now that it is worse, stopping excersize it did not return to a normal pain level that it was before the excesize. Once again doctors invented a remmedy and got it wrong, but doubled down on ignorance. Only doctors who who have the condition can know anything about curing it.
Excellent explaination
Just to say some med ed specific videos haven't even touched these topics. Thanks so much
Great video. I am a general surgeon that forgot most of rehab lessons in med school. I recently experienced the pain over my right anterior shoulder after bench press and front kettlbell push. I palpated and eas like "isn't that the long head? But I didn't do any bicep curl, how did that happen?" I Googled it and found this video, it explained my question and provided management. Good stuff
As a very active judo player kt tape is trash give me sport tape everyday

How many month stew remove
There’s several hidden Vains ,be careful
I’m in much pain,in a walking boot,in have a fracture,on 3- Meds,waiting to go back and see the Dr
My hip pain is very peculiar.,in that it only hurts when I sit and very intense when rising from the sitting position It’s the right outer of the Hip and pain radiates towards the Knee outer and not the inside . I have no problem in walking, bending or lifting . Incidentally I fell a week before and landed on my Right Buttock/Hip and did not experience any discomfort the following day or two. Ice pack helps. Appreciate a response.
Thanks a lot for this video ❤ i hope we see all all all conditions this way
When ESWT used on lower back, is there any issue it will penetrate and injure ureter or bladder?

This is so subjective, and as a long-time practicing therapist and teacher, I often hear, see, and run into people who you have to wonder WHY they call themselves or are considered experts! Many people consider themselves experts but ONLY have opinions, or opinions that reflect the time and experience phase of their self-growth. With that said, It doesn't take an expert to quickly realize that all palpating types of massages can help somewhat but to fix, correct, or heal a particular chronic musculoskeletal issue in the body, you have to realign what most patients come with, compensating or crooked ribs, facet joints, and vertebrae that hence affect COMPLETELY all surrounding tissue, tendons and ligaments. If you do not ultimately do this, as you say, all therapy is temporary in its pain relief effects, leaving the cause of the pain intact. I have been an expert massage and manual therapist for over 34 years, and it took me a long time to not only figure this out but to develop the skills that go along with it to realign the body. I think it is this long phase of time that it takes to do such things, where mostly opinions come in, or people are UNAWARE that this is possible or even how it is done. I combine massage, manual, and osteopath therapy to achieve an almost 100% success rate, I apply manual therapy with the strokes of massage and the knowledge of osteopath therapy, and the results are not only astonishing, but almost always the same when you learn to realign the body, or simply put back a misaligned rib. WHY? The theory is straightforward: when a body or structure is aligned, there is no longer any hypertonic resistance; all of the soft tissue, underlying structures, and fascia are in alignment, preventing unnatural pulling that could cause pain, discomfort, or tightness. So, again, I question many tests and opinions, especially when one's opinion is so subjective. Experience, or the one I talk about above, takes SO long to achieve, and if it is not achieved, I think it just leaves a lot of misplaced opinions that may be questioning everything because they have to put in the time, experience, and knowledge to acquire the great skill of manual therapy for realizing the body. www.massageandmaualtherapy.ca
Great explanation
This is definitely what I have. Omg it’s painful.
I have it right now as well, easily the WORST pain I've ever felt, including childbirth. Hope you get relief soon.
@@clearwaterbeachlocals thanks and hope you do also
As someone in PT school, I can’t believe I just discovered this channel. It’s a life saver! Thank you!!
Assalamalaikum...love from India ❤
Thank you so much for your effort. These are very very good information. I appreciate your knowledge and effort. I would like to ask clarification about Kim's case: For any reason, "patellar tracking disorder" or "tendonitis", isn't she supposed to have patella area pain? How come she feel patella area pain mistakenly? Thank you in advance
Amazing video
Is there any chamce of knee popping sound due to this
Hey bro !can cubital tunnel sydrome became worse in cold weather?
Im a brazilian physiotherapy student. This video is a content source for me
Is it possible to tear the medial head (appears to me at the mtj) without bruising, pain, or bruising? I just discovered by looking at my calves in the mirror that my medial head appears like it’s almost gone. When I flex my leg’s calves, only the other head flexes while my medial head just looks rolled up and deflated. No problem with deadlifts, leg pressing or squatting. No issues with balance either. Heal raising with the damaged calf is weaker than my other leg.
Thanks. I look forward to this mornings physio session, working on these very muscles. Now I understand much more, being a visual learner.
I can actually feel when the ultrasound is on. I tingle.
This is my one year and six months and still when I walking for long time I feel pain but I exercise every day I think you understand my writing in English please give me some advice thank you
So I tried a boot, the Normatec 3, but I question the whole concept of compression boots. You feel the same way after a session as before, I was biking for 5 hours, was really drained, hoping to get some relief. But no difference, well then I was hoping maybe at least it feels like a massage, that it would at least feel good, but also not really. It's just compressing, doesn't feel like a massage either. I got it at Best Buy and returned it a week later. That was a waste of energy and time.
Four weeks post op today, acl reconstruction and complex tear of meniscus... longer rehand than if it was just one or the other
Isn't 4:50 sec in contradiction with 7:40 sec? When patella is in 0° extension or normal position?
I am 55 years old , working as a dietary aide, when i developed the pains, but have used my hands, my whole life, Its never hurt this bad, I did go to the dr she only gave me steroids for 6 days, but i cant remember if she told me to come back if it doesnt releive the pain,,, guess what,,, it did not. My hands get stiff, and really sore from irritation, hurts to pour drinks , hold ice scoops, anything heavy,,, I used the splint i bought, but it still hurts,,, thinking of going back to the dr. before i spill coffee on residence.
Cleared... Thank you...I'll follow your instructions....again thank you from Phil.
More case studies please.😊
I nailed it! Thank you so much Sir K.! :)
